Use current supplier pricing whenever possible. Cable and fitting prices vary materially by conductor type, market conditions and location. Measure the route, include sensible slack and waste, count terminations and supports, then enter a realistic labor allowance.
Calculation method
Material cost equals cable length multiplied by cable unit price, plus number of fittings multiplied by fitting unit price. Labor cost equals labor hours multiplied by hourly rate. All values display in US dollars for a familiar baseline, but the same arithmetic works with any currency when each input uses that currency consistently. Add taxes, permits, equipment rental, travel, overhead, contingency and profit outside this basic estimate where applicable.

Does this include tax? No. Include tax in unit prices or add it to the final quotation. What counts as a fitting? Connectors, couplings, glands, boxes or repeatable items can be represented by an average cost. How much waste should I add? Add reasonable extra cable length for routing, termination and foreseeable rework.
